As of 6 February 2015 the airport hosts photo exhibition with theme “Tolerance” organized by Infinity Opportunities Association. 88 photographs are exhibited showing different events all over the country held under the motto “Smile from Bulgaria”, “What is love to us?”, “No Hate” and others unified under the theme of tolerance.
The projects were implemented in partnership with Bulgarian and foreign non-governmental organizations.
A joint project implemented by Sofia Airport and the French Cultural Institute on occasion of St. Valentine’s Day raise the spirits of passengers at Terminal 2.
In the first month of 2015 Sofia Airport achieved a 3,3 % increase in passenger traffic in comparison with January last year. A total of 291 169 arriving and departing passengers used both airport terminals. Terminal 2 was used by 65 % of the passengers and Terminal 1 by 35 %.
