With a scent of roses

Traditionally, in the midst of the rose harvest, passengers and visitors at Sofia Airport were welcomed with freshly picked blossoms of oil-bearing Rosa Damascena from the village of Panicherevo. Women wearing Bulgarian folk costumes and volunteers were handing out the flowers that had become a symbol of our country.

For a fifth consecutive year Sofia Airport promotes the initiative that generates public interest and draws attention to the Bulgarian rose industry.
